Published on31 Ottobre 2025

Our National Bidding Committee took part in the World Skin Summit 2025, where they warmly welcomed colleagues and delegates from around the world at their booth.
During the congress, Dra. Yolanda Gilaberte, President of the National Bidding Committee, officially presented Madrid’s candidacy to host the World Congress of Dermatology 2031, sharing the vision and values that inspire this proposal.

At our booth, participants were invited to learn more about the scientific, cultural, and human dimension of the candidacy: a proposal designed to foster collaboration, innovation, and inclusion within the global dermatology community.

It was a moment of great pride and emotion for AEDV, the Spanish Academy of Dermatology and Venereology, to showcase how Madrid proposes to welcome dermatologists from around the world: a renewed city with a new skin.

As a city of many colors and cultures, Madrid connects people and ideas through diversity, sustainability, creativity, connectivity, and scientific innovation.
This is the essence of today’s Madrid, a city transformed by its commitment to well-being, research, and global collaboration.

Madrid connects. Madrid is the connection with WCD2031.
